Located at the Vogue stage in Rundle Mall, the event will include talks from fashion and beauty insiders as well as Vogue and GQ editors.

3:30pm Meet the editors

Join Edwina McCann, editorial director of Vogue Australia, Vogue Living & GQ Australia, and Mike Christensen, editor of GQ Australia, for a discussion on the fashion industry that will cover how the industry is shaping up nationally and internationally and staying relevant in a constantly changing space. Facilitated by Glynis Traill Nash, fashion editor at the Australian.

 

5:00pm Meet the Movers X Shakers

Celebrity stylist and frequent GQ contributor Elliot Garnaut joins the panel to cover what’s what in the consistently changeable social media landscape, who’s who on the fashion scene and engages in a conversation with other panelists on how social media affects their lives and what they do each day to ‘keep it real’.

 

Saturday 19 October

 

10:00am Meet the beauty moguls

Join one of Australia’s biggest influencers, Elle Ferguson, as she talks about her career as a fashion mogul and beauty boss, and her learnings along the way. She’ll be joined by senior beauty & health editor of Vogue Australia, Remy Rippon.  

 

11:30am Meet the directors & designers

Moderated by Vogue Australia fashion editor & market editor, Philippa Moroney, and fashion features director, Alice Birrell, this panel will feature the team from South Australian label Acler and By Johnny founder and designer Johnny Schembri.   

 

1:00pm Learn about the slow fashion movement​

A thought-provoking Q&A with local guests and Slow Adelaide champions Anny Duff of Good Studios and Emily Sheahan of SWOP Clothing Exchange & Vintage Fashion. During the session panelists will in deep-dive into how they work slow values into their businesses and private lives and how we can all do our bit to help the environment through fashion.
